Description
MK-677 (Ibutamoren) is an orally active, selective, non-peptide agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor type 1a (GHS-R1a), which functionally mimics endogenous ghrelin. Its activation of GHS-R1a promotes pulsatile growth hormone secretion and modulates downstream metabolic and enzymatic cascades involved in anabolic signaling, energy homeostasis, and tissue regeneration.
